The Ecotourism Award in its twelfth edition, represents one of the arms of performance of our Entity: recognize and reward positive actions highlighted in sustainable development .
The Renewable Energy & Ecotourism Award 2013 aims to recognize initiatives highlighted by contributions to trade Ecotourism and Renewable Energy . Initiatives should promote excellence in their actions with a focus on sustainable development in the short and long term .
The Ecotourism Group will celebrate and give delivery of sustainable honors four celebrities next day November 25, 2013 , at Senac Esplanade , along with the XII International Seminar on Sustainability .
The Ecotourism Award was created in 2002 by the Journal Ecotourism in the 80s in the Brazilian Amazon .
The recipients of the Award in the 2013 edition will earn a certificate and a trophy created by renowned sculptor Osni White , the exclusive creation for awards.
In 2013 the XII Award Ecotourism & Renewable Energy chose four important names to reflect society and lead Brazil to the world with their actions , their work and achievements throughout their professional lives successful and choices made ??and well defined . Figures that more than deserve awards serve as an example and mirror for future generations .
In the category of ” Social Inclusion ” the winner is former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Silva , in the category of ” Cultural Sustainability ” is the award-winning filmmaker Pernambuco Kleber Mendonça Filho , in the category ” Benefits to Humanity ” is the award-winning Brazilian economist and Palestinian Amyra El Khalili already received , for years , the nomination ” Thousand women for the Nobel PEACE ” as one of the most influential women and sustainable actions in favor of women around the world , in the category of ” sustainable Automotive Industry “The prize is Guajaramirense rondoniano Carlos Goshn ,
